A Trip to Hull

Postby Car_clean » Wed Mar 19, 2014 10:04 pm

So Sunday 16th February we (Rach my wife & me) were invited up to the new National Leather Repair training centre and college in Hull for an open day. As some of you already know Rach did a 3 day leather training programme with Richard at his headquarters in Withernsea back in November. We were excited to go up and see his new premises to see his business expanding. The new training centre is well equipped to cater for all training needs and can easily accommodate group or solo training. Richard personally trains everyone himself, he adjusts to the students individual needs and pace and is extremely easy to get along with. Although Richard is strong front man his wife Carolynne provides an invaluable role within The Leather Repair Company.

A great day. We had some great demos, I could be a little bias as Rach did one, including a partial re-colour of a car seat. Lots of free food and drink all bound together in a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of training in leather care to give The Leather Repair Company a call.

Only 35 mins down the road for me. Shame I will be busy throwing pans at waiteresses.

Have fun mate.

I've spoken with Rich a few times, and he seems extremely knowledgable, as well as passionate about acheiving the best results possible.

I know he is thinking of opening a centre in the Midlands, which I think will make it a lot more acessible. I keep thinking about having it as an add-on to the business too
