Concept vista drying time?

Postby DonKeegan » Sat Jun 28, 2014 1:04 pm

I want a longlife trim dressing that does not streak when it rains. Seems like concept vista would be ideal. However, I am concerned about the drying time. I have read that it must dry for 1 hour before the car can be exposed to the weather? Is this true? If so, can you guys recommend a good alternative? Carpro perl?
Thanks

I used Vista for a long time, yes it does need approx an hour to fully dry and does work well. CarPro PERL is good, I use it as a tyre dreesing but would highly recommend Angelwax - Halo. Easy to apply, lasts and good value for money. Gives some nice beading to :D

Well I have just put Angelwax Corona on the van plastics. Easier to apply than Halo being a liquid

I'll report back on the durability, but I am quite excited about this already

I was introduced to Vista quite recently and have to admit that it seems to work very well. It is totally different to the likes of perl (which is a silicone based product) which means that it lasts a lot longer. of course, as per this thread, it does need much more preparation to get the most out of it.

Vista is a very good product to be fair. Drying time is great if you are unit based, but mobile can be issue. I've mostly gone over to Angelwax Corona on trim now.

I have a sample but not tried it yet as I've not had any faded trim recently.
