Bilt hamber

New to detailing, I like the bilt hamber stud, got some auto foam, Korrosol, and Auto Balm. Auto balm is confusing me! Is it a wax, a sealant?? Do I polish my car before using? If so with what? Cleanser polish is something stronger?? No scratches as such or that many swirls! Car is a seat Altea XL in metallic neyara blue. Open to suggestions and recommendations.

Hi there
Auto Balm is a strange looking product isn't it! Its a synthetic type sealant with a unique appearance. Its non abrasive so if paintwork is faded /rough use a polish / clay before application. Having said that Auto Balm can fill minor swirls in some cases. Cleanser polish will cleanse and polish as opposed to cleanser fluid which is just a paint cleanser ( like an ipa wipedown alternative)
Hope that helps
Cheers
Jon
